Manufacturer's Description
In The Night Garden
In the Night Garden is a huge success for kids and parents. This nursery rhyme laden program keeps young ones spellbound and winds them down before bedtime. The loveable characters and toys can now be bought so your child can play with them, take them to snuggle up with and enjoy more of the songs, catch-phrases and enchantment from the program.
Suitable for children aged 18months +
All Aboard
With good visual accuracy to the on-screen version, this colourful train will be sure to delight. It has four colourful, differently sized carriages and an engine that all connect together so you can race it around for hours of roll-along fun! The product has been redesigned since launch to improve the child’s experience and with sturdier carriage connections and now easier to pull along we can all re-enact our favourite moments.
It’s a funny kind of train, the like of which you’ve never seen before!
Buckle In For The Ride
The Ninky Nonk is a wonderful train of many differently sized and shaped carriages and in the story The Tombliboos, the Pontipines, Upsy Daisy and Igglepiggle all have their own carriages, although they often travel in each other's. Pretend all the characters are traveling in your own Ninky Nonk toy as you and your child reenact it careening through hedges, clambering up and down trees (or is that arm of the sofa), and even occasionally travelling upside down along the branches of trees (make that the underside of your kitchen table). Make sure your make believe characters are buckled in for the ride!
Watch as your child gets fully immersed in the In The Night Garden experience.
Customer Reviews
very disappointing
my children love the show so I bought this from argos for £10. I immediately returned it. there was so muchmore that they could've done with this. for a start it could've been at least twice the size. they could have made the carriage tops flip open for the characters to ride in and they could've put something on the front for children to pull along. I was verydisappointed and it is a shame the manufacturer didn't think this through very well before producing it because my two year old would love it. I did contact hasbro through their website with my thoughts and i would encourage others to do the same rather than only leave notes in these sort of arena. After all, if the company doesn't know what the public really thinks about their products they can't improve or change them
Actually upsetting as it falls apart so easily!
This is a visually accurate (if quite small) ninky nonk, so first impressions were good. Then we got it out of the packaging.
We soon realised that due to exceptionally poor design the carriages fall apart continually when children play with them and for younger ones in particular this is upsetting and frustrating as it appears to 'break' continually - oh and forget about the ninky nonk racing about like it does on the telly - if it gets 3 centimetres without falling apart it is a wonder. A cynical piece of marketing - and upsetting for eager children.
Absolutely terrible
I bought this toy for my daughter as soon as it was released.
What a waste of money! As other reviewers have commented, this toy provides little-to-none fun for my two year old daughter, who has not played with this since it was removed from its box. My daughter was gutted, and I wasted £15!
I am so angry about this toy I have contacted Hasbro via their website as I actually believe this toy is unfit for purpose and would even consider takig further action about this, (that's how angry I am about it!) I am at a loss as to how this passed any quality-control process.
I would urge the other reviewers to do the same and contact hasbro.
If you are considering buying this toy, don't - save your money.
