Good Design poor Build quality.
I bought this Iggle Piggle trike for my 20 month old baby brother who loves thing from The Night Garden. It comes with their very own fluffy iggle piggle back pack which they can carry or strap onto the front of the trike, and it comes with a plastic bucket at the back for carrying toys ect. And for those that need a little bit of help to get about there is a parent handle which can be removed when it is not needed or required.
The design of the product is good but the build quality is not brillant. it is not the Bentley`s of trike or bike but Ford`s of the bike world. My Review is similar to the Iggle Piggle Bike.
Broken after 3 months
I bought this trike for my son for Xmas as Iggle Piggle is his favourite character. As we were putting it together we realised that the build quality is inferior. After taking him out on this trike a few times the plastic parts that cover the joins snapped off. I assume this was from the vibration of riding over the bumpy pavements. The long handle isn't very stable at all and has cracked quite dangerously. We have probably only taken my son around the block about 20 times as the weather has only just started to allow it and now we aren't able to at all. He is devastated, at only 19 months he doesn't understasnd why Mummy and Daddy can't take him out on his favourite toy. Disappointingly this trike is a complete waste of money.
poor design and build quality
we bought this bike for our daughter's second birthday and were disappointed with it. the handle is wobbly and it's difficult to control the bike with it. the positioning of the pedals makes it virtually impossible for a child to pedal the bike by themselves and the wheels are lumpy and make an awful noise on tarmac and won't turn on short grass. we would not recommend this toy. it would be better to choose an unbranded bike of good quality (something like a puki is very good) and buy some Night Garden stickers to decorate it with.
