Like its predecessor "Market Wizards", this book offers practical advice on investing from some of the most prestigious Wall Street professional in a personal, anecdotal style. With inside stories of both the brilliant successes and the self-inflicted failures experienced by some of the biggest traders and investors in the game, Jack Schwager shows even small investors how to avoid pitfalls and make the most of their money.

Still a brilliant read
I've read parts of this book 4 or 5 times through, not only is it a brilliant read but provides undying insights into the mind of succesful traders. This was one of the first books I purchased on trading and over 40 books and a lot of profitable trades later, I rate it as the best read of them all. Once you pick this up you wont be able to put it down!
Correctly addresses psychology not prop trading secrets
Readers who wanted to have insights into the minds of traders have definitely got it here. There are a handful of technical inconsistencies but they're insignificant compared to the wealth of information and advice available. Of course NO book can tell you a secret trading strategy (just like no technical trading system that actually makes money will be sold). But the key message of emotional control and avoiding psychological biases is what leads to good trade initiation/exit as well as risk control. Those who think there is a conspiracy to keep the big ideas secret within a club obviously didn't read about the humble backgrounds that many of the super-traders came from.
No strategies no insight information
There isn't much Finish investment books available so I tried one made in USA. Not quite what I expected but still money well spent. I must say very motivating book, which tells what kind of attitude, a good investor needs to have to succeed
