Customer Reviews

Good when it works - Cost you if it doesn't2
I have two of these, unfortunately I didn't buy them on Amazon. I say unfortunate because one of them failed after a couple of weeks and I had to return it to Iomega for replacement. Shipping to the Netherlands cost almost £10 which you have to pay yourself, and they replaced it with a "remanufactured" unit. So my net cost is 10% over retail and I end up with a remanufactured unit. Drives work OK, but it would be better to be able to return them to the seller if they are defective.

My 2nd Iomega drive and working fine4
Had this drive for over a month now and no problems. Plugged in and off I went. This is my 2nd Iomega drive - just ran out of space on the old one. Beacuse you "stand" it on its side, it does not take as much desk space as my old 300 mg - or seem quite as heavy. It appears to copy from the old drive or from the PC at a good rate.

As I now have a lot of original digital material, I have bought a second 1TB drive as a backup, but went for a different make to reduce the risk of loosing everying to disk failure.

External Hard Drive5
If you want an external hard drive that just plugs in and plays without any fuss or problems then look no further. This Iomega baby is the cats whiskers.

I thought I had bags of storage space in my pro editing suite but storing films soon eats up the hard drives and I have been running our of space fast.

This drive has sorted my problems out and I will definately get another one.
