A Great Map for Detail but
I bought this map because I needed a detailed map which I could also mark the route on to show to others and this map seemed to fit the bill from the description.

I found it easy to use and very detailed, as expected. I marked the route on it in dry wipe chalk markers and, even after a couple of weeks, this came off easily with just a bit of cotton wool.

The only drawback was because of the 'plastic coating' to protect the map from permanent marks and rain, it did not easily fold into the area I needed nor would it fold back into it's original folds. However this was easily overcome by using a rubber band to hold it in place.

This map will be useful and used extensively in the future for mapping walks on this beautiful and interesting island. It is well made and will, I hope, stand up to use in all conditions.
