Customer Reviews

Great introduction to Yang Short Form4
I love this DVD, it presents the Yang Short Form with a variety of different viewing options that let you really get inside the movements.

The form is divided into 11 sections, each section presented three times showing different aspects of the movement and breathing each time. These sections are also presented mirrored, so you move with the teacher rather than against her.

Once you've got the basics of the form down you can then choose to watch the whole sequence through with commentary on the body mechanics or the breathing techniques.

A great place to start if you can't get to a class or want to practice with help afterwards.

Better than most dvds4
This is a relatively good dvd. Each sequence of movements is repeated with a different commentary - so she explains how to breathe with the movements, and where to put your weight etc.
You can also watch it in a 'mirrored' form, which is very good when you are trying to mimic her movements.
