About the Author
Adam and Nicole were both born in 1969. Adam was born in Hong Kong, where his father was serving as a diplomat, and he spent his childhood living in Turkey, the USA, Nigeria and Gabon, when he was not in boarding schools in the UK. Nicole was born in Quebec, Canada, but later moved to Milton Keynes. Educated in a radical state school, she was admitted to Cambridge in 1988. There she met Adam, and her first horse, Sensi.

My review on Whispering Back
I bought this book when i went to see Monty Roberts live at South-View Equestrian Centre and I am really pleased that i did as it is my favorite book on the shelf(and i do own a lot!!). This book makes you cry, laugh and smile and gives every rider and non-rider hope and inspiration. I love Sensi and Karma and all the other horses in the book but cry at some points (don't worry,i won't give it away!), and laugh my head off at the next, as it reminds me of the horses i have at home. It is amazing how people like Adam and Nicole spend their lives with horses curing them of fears and problems, but, in a sensible way, not causing anymore pain and hurt on them. When i am older i would love to be able to work with horses to such an extent that they do.

Any horse lover should buy this book!
This book is truly inspiring. This revolutionary style of horsemanship should be odopted by everyone who owns a horse. This is a book I did not want to put down and left me wanting to read more about Nicole and Adams experiences with the horses that have come into there care. This book certainly left it's mark and I will always remember Joe!

This book is really special to me as it shows how two ordinary horse lovers discovered Monty Robert's methods of Natural Horsemanship and put them to practice with their horses and now offer their experience to help people with problem horses. The book is written really well and at the same time it's a real story about real people written by them about their inspiring work with horses.
