ivacuum
This little gem is a master piece, It`s cheaper than the roomba and yet delivers just the same. It picks up my parrots feathers the roomba did not it does pick up dog hairs and a lot more besides. I had a remote and a docking station I did not with the roomba . Bad points and this is the reason I would now rate it as a four star, waste box smaller than the roomba and the roomba in my opinion was to small, Remote control is slow to react and needs more force than it should on the buttons. no spare filters and the roomba does and you need them trust me. It does reverse like the new roomba to detangle but stops against the skirting board as it trys to mount it in my opinion the motor is to strong or it is to light at the back, and all the other features of the old roomba such as stopping at the stairs . For those of you that do not know Known of these machines they cannot get into the corners of your room and clean them properly yet, not at these prices but I am sure they will invent one that does . One other negetive theirs no address on the packaging or tel number to contact for information and the english on the directions leaflet is somthing to be desired.
Keep a screwdriver handy!
This little hoover does a great job when it is working. However, I found that I had to take it apart and clean the brushes every time I wanted to use it. It never found it's docking station to recharge and the battery life got shorter and shorter until it refused to move at all! We have only owned it for 6 months and it is worn out. My advice is to spend more and buy a more robust little hoover. I am going to buy a roomba and see if that copes better with our home.
Okay Vacuum cleaner
The vacuum cleaner is good at cleaning but after experiencing a lot of problems with it returned it for a refund. The vacuum constanly gets stuck at objects and switches off as the cleaning is taking place so having to get up to re-adjust it is very common. There is also the problem of it not returning to the docking station along with not cleaning every part of the room and missing corners. When working its cleaning abilities are noticeable as it cleans well but the dirctional aspect of it clearly needs to be taken back to the programming and testing station where it was created as it lacks this important aspect very obviously so. If you are willing to constantly check up on the vacuum then purchasing this is ideal, but if you don't want adjust the directions manually everytime you clean whether daily or weekly then try out the more expensive models with better direction subroutines as they may fair better but at £80.00 retail price this vacuum clearly is overpriced when considering it's abilities that it lacks.
