Short-lived
This is the only mains power charger available ON AMAZON for the YP-P2, as far as I know. Actually, its just a plug with a slot for you to insert the USB cable that usually attaches to the computer. I found that this charger (by a company called I-nique) worked well to start with, but after a few months it developed a fault. Now my MP3 player fails to charge unless I fiddle with the USB lead whilst its inside the port in the plug. And even then, sometimes it stops charging prematurely. I'm now in the process of buying a new charger. I did visit my local Samsung store, but was pretty disgusted to find that they didn't stock any accessories WHATSOEVER for their MP3 players. Instead, they handed me a small slip of paper which advised me to consult an online company that specializes in Samsung accessories. Upon visiting their website, I discovered that even THEY didnt have any accessories for the YP-P2. I was invited to fill out a product request form, but as yet the company hasn't got back to me. I have to admit that I find Samsung's lack of co-ordination in regard to such accessories quite disappointing, and can almost understand why the YP-P2 hasn't overtaken the iPod Touch yet in the popularity stakes. Anyway, I suspect I shall now have to traul the listings at a certain well-known auction website in order to find what I'm looking for. lets hope the same thing doesn't happen again. Here's hoping that Samsung improves its range of accessories in the near future.
