Interesting Re-hash of a Great Album4
Without a doubt, Two Pages is one of the greatest d+b albums ever. The integration of soaring violins and brass with difficult beats and phat bass gives the whole album a uniqely organic sound.

So, what do you do to follow that? Give the album to someone else and see what they can do with it. The result is Reinterpretations. Whilst not as well rounded as the original album, Reinterpretations takes many of the bests songs on the album and twists them to fit other roles. Whilst some of the tracks have been beefed up for a harder audience, my favourite tracks are the "Star Chasers" remix by Azimuth and the Jazzanova mix of "We Who Are Not As Others". These fuse the original tracks with a funky acid jazz sound that gives a totally different take to the original tunes.

Whilst not to be taken in the same way as the original, Reinterpretations offers a different perspective on an incredible album. Well worth checking out.
