Editorial Reviews

Synopsis
The Victims of Jack the Ripper focuses on the five women murdered by the infamous London serial killer. The book explores their lives and not just their deaths, leading to a fuller understanding of them as individuals. The author is the first to have contacted the descendants of these women to learn information that previously was only known to their families. Neal Stubbings Shelden is known in the field of Ripperology as an expert on this topic, having produced several limited edition booklets that have long been sought after by collectors. This highly anticipated volume combines twenty one years of research into one book and includes his most recent findings along with more than forty pages of photographs.

Customer Reviews

Shame about the grammatical errors2
I don't think I've ever read a book that is so full of grammatical errors. It is an otherwise very interesting book, but the pleasure of reading it is completely obliterated by the host of errors. I would suggest someone thoroughly proof-reads this book before another edition is ever printed.

a useful companion3
There are snippets of information on the Ripper's victims that I hadn't read anywhere else and this book provides solid background on each woman, apart from the elusive Mary Jane Kelly. Excellent photographs and a fascinating section on the descendents of some of the women. For me the book is marred by a dizzying number of grammatical errors. I would strongly suggest the publishers have this book proof-read before producing a new edition.

Gift5
Thank you so much. I gave this to my sister for a gift. She is thrilled with it. Thank you very much.
