This set is a great introduction to the world of Scalextric racing, featuring an extended figure-of-eight track with exciting crossover section and side-swipes. The two 'Super Resistant' cars are tough enough for full impact racing. The cars feature easy change pick-ups and the Magnatraction™ system to help them stay on the circuit. Please note that the cars do not have working lights.

    Cross over track4
    Scalextric is fun and good for control and co-ordination but normally has a bridge that really isn't god for the connectors. This track has a cross over: great for crashes, but is therefore more durable. It really is time though that hornby developed a more modern way of getting the electricity to the car.

    My Grandson's first scalextric and he was very pleased with it. These have always been good value and a lot of fun.

    Good product at good price, easy to set up and good fun, wing mirrors are toast after first couple of collisions but what do you expect ?
