So you think you had it all figured?
If after reading the first five books of series 3, of these brilliant Warrior Cats books, you thought you had it all worked out, well think again! Surprise after surprise, once again as Erin Hunter delivers more twists to the Power of Three storyline, leaving a thoroughly mind-blowing conclusion to the series. I would rate this as one of the best two books of the entire 18 written in the Warrior Cats series. Can't wait for Series 4 in December!

another twist in the tail
Fans of Erin Hunter will know that there are actually three authors behind this gripping saga of feline trials and tribulations. Whoever wrote this one doesn't quite have the descriptive flair of the others. The story shoots along at the usual cracking pace, but without pulling you into the action as well as some of the other books in the series.
There are a few clunky bits in the plot and you have to stretch credibility a bit in places as key characters do things completely out of character with a bit of post-rationalisation to keep the story going. Even more questions than answers at the end which is a little unsatisfactory - I know it's part of an epic, but would have liked a bit more resolution. But like everyone else who has been into the story since 'Rusty' sat on his fence and yearned for a different life - I can't put these books down, and am already desperate for the next one in the series to come out!
