I don't even speak Japanese!4
I recently started learning Japanese and stumbled across this CD by Aiko. I didn't really know what to expect, but I can tell you I wasn't disappointed! The kind of music Aiko has produced brings at least to my mind Avril Lavigne crossed with a bit of Vanessa Carlton. It took a couple of listens to get into it, but then not yet being able to speak Japanese was probably a factor! Don't let it put you off though if you're English, this has become one of my favourite albums! It's very uplifting and Aiko's voice is very sweet and distinctive. I would definitely recommend it!
