About the Author
Bleach is author Tite Kubo's second title. Kubo made his debut with Zombie Powder, a four-volume series for Weekly Shonen Jump. To date, Bleach has been translated into numerous languages and has also inspired an animated TV series that began airing in Japan in 2004. Beginning its serialization in 2001, Bleach is still a mainstay in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump. In 2005, Bleach was awarded the prestigious Shogakukan Manga Award in the shonen (boys') category.

Entering Las Noches
Having successfully reached Hueco Mundo Ichigo, Uryû and Chad make their way towards Aizen's massive fortress of Las Noches. While on their way they encounter unexpected allies both old and new who will help them in their mission to rescue Orihime.
This is another good volume of the Bleach manga which, despite being a little light on the action, is nonetheless still funny and interesting to read. This volume sees a bit more information given about the Arrancars and Espada, as well as explaining some of the reasoning behind Orihime's abduction. This volume also introduces some new characters with all ten of the Espada making an appearance and Nel Tu, one of my favourite characters from the series, is also introduced. Bleach is definitely a greatly entertaining series and this volume is no exception.
