The 14.4 volt cordless drill has autoselect technology. This allows you to select the application and the drill will automatically adjust to the correct setting. No more guessing the correct speed, and torque setting for drilling into wood, metal or masonry and screw driving applications.
The variable speed function is perfect for controlled drilling and screw driving. The drill is supplied with two batteries and a one hour charger. The battery level indicator lets you know how much battery charge remains at any time. You can easily make a quick change of batteries due to new slide pack battery locking system.

well worth buying
Having had a good look around for a drill that had enough features to cover most eventualities (i.e. screwdriving, wood, metal masonary and hammer drilling) along with two batteries, I therefore decided upon the Black & Decker and this drill was available on Amazon at a competitive price.
Has done all that I have needed it to do and is easy and straight forward to use.
It may not be what you need for heavy or serious DIY, but as an good all in one, I would recommend this drill highly.
Good quality drill at excellent price
This is sold by Amazon at an excellent price. The drill is great for light to medium DIY use, having two batteries is useful. The only downsides are that the drill does not come with any drill bits and only comes with one double headed screwdriver bit, the handle/grip is rubberised as well which may not be durable in the long round. All in all however this is excellent for the price.

Great piece of equipment. No worries about torque selection, just pick the picture that displays what you want to do and off you go. Each battery takes just 1 hour to charge and with a press of the handy little button on top of the drill, you will know just how much battery life you have left.
