Editorial Reviews
CD Description
Today's most popular crooner Michael Buble steps outside the box for this fourth studio album, his follow-up to 2007's 'Call Me Irresponsible'. Moving away from the Rat Pack stylings of yore, here he adopts a decidedly 70s sounding singer songwriter feel with which he sounds equally at home. Produced by pop staples David Foster and Humberto Gatica with the surprise addition of Bob Rock (Metallica), the album includes two Buble originals and features a guest spot from Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings.

No bonus track!
Amazon.co.uk list this item as comming with the bonus-track Some kind of wonderfull. That's wrong. The CD/DVD combo has the original version of the CD with 13 tracks. So if you want both a DVD and the bonus-track you have to buy both. I guess the record-company doesn't wnat you to have it all in one package.
"Bublé uncanny ability to nail each song with his signature style"
Reprise/ Warner presents "CRAZY LOVE" (Special Edition/CD & DVD), you now have a front row seat with the Compact Disc and DVD, dynamic opening track "CRY ME A RIVER", featuring pop vocalist of the millennium Michael Bublé, the Vancouver crooner with his latest release with new material and some vintage swingin' standards --- Canadian crooner's fourth studio release, is about as versatile as it gets --- jam packed with an unforgettable youthful style that takes you back to the '40 and '50s --- listening to every tune on this album brings back memories of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole (one of my favorite singers of all time) and Tony Bennett (who is still going strong), crooning favorite standards of the day --- Bublé has the uncanny ability to nail each track with his signature style and making it his own.
Buble's performance is impeccable, the renditions are simply from the heart --- one can hardly pick a stand out, entire recording draws on the swinging bands of yesterday like Count Basie, Quincy Jones, Billy Mays and Nelson Riddle at his back, plus slow tempos with blends of original sentiment and gorgeous melodies in the order in which they appear --- Some favorites on this album surface "CRY ME A RIVER", "ALL OF ME", "GEORGIA ON MY MIND", "HOLD ON", YOU'RE NOBODY TILL SOMEBODY LOVES YOU", "BABY (YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES)", "STARDUST" and "HAVEN'T MET YOU YET" -- but what the hey, I love all thirteen tracks with the big brass, velvety strings and lush tones from our favorite crooner.

BIO:
Michael Bublé (Michael Steven Bublé)
Date of Birth: 9 September 1975 - Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada
Date of Death: Still Living
This special edition with CD/DVD is well worth the price of admission --- A look behind the scenes of this roller coaster career of the young 34 year old crooner --- One can only hope that his popularity and voice will live on much like his predecessors Crosby, Sinatra and Bennett --- Bublé is carrying the flamed torch of his many mentors to keep the "American Songbook" alive, gotta love it!
My wife and I were fortunate enough to see Michael Bublé in a St. Louis concert, met him back stage --- might add this young man made a very positive impression on all who attended that night's show --- he's a first class guy and has everything going for him --- couldn't happen to a nicer person, it's like second nature with his natural ability to vocalize and be a crowd pleaser is pure magic --- shows why Buble has the the stuff stars are made of --- Michael's the hottest property in the genre of "American Standards" today --- as Michael warns his band, "get ready it's about to start all over again", and that's 2009 and beyond --- climb aboard this musical merry-go-round, you'll never regret it --- Good Luck, Michael with your latest studio recording --- it is definitely a trip and a half.

slow grower
I was a little disapointed when I first listened to this album, it didnt seem as strong as his last 2. But its a real grower I can't take it out the stereo now, I love it, Cry me a river is totally brilliant
