Outstanding source of knowledge in accessible format!
This distinguished organic chemist shares his in-depth knowledge of the particular current value of essential oils, for health on all levels. Dr. Schaubelt has a gift for presenting in-depth facts and information in a way that is intriguing and easy to assimilate.

Bridges the artificial gap between science and spirit
This is a wonderful and fascinating book, which takes an area of essential oil studies which often fills students with dread and/or boredom - essential oil chemistry, and renders the subject fascinating, exciting and properly mysterious - that is, containing mystery, magic, something of wonder. I found the section on the commonality of chemistry with many living organisms absolutely mind blowing. He does not see the world of matter/science as separate from the world of spirit, or that matter makes a nonsense of spirit - but conveys the idea that spirit infuses matter. He shows that essential oil science/chemistry is so exciting!!
