It also works for the 1015
Amazon seem to have a problem with Garmin kit and describing the compatability. This item works well with the 101 too. (foretrex and forerunner). The bit that straps to the bar is solid and the gps holder is fine too, although you need to make sure there is enough space to operate the release catch.

I broke my garmin while windsurfing the strap pin attachement broke so had to buy a new one leaving me with a working but useless garmin, but not any more! I now have it attached to my bike and it's great, I had to buy the larger diameter bar attachment which i got on here too but that was a minor thing! clips onto the same bits as the charger adaptor.

Very useful. Cuts out need to buy speedometer & odometer for your bike - if you own a Garmin 201!
