With friends like these.....
Lord Sutch had some very influential mates and to talk `em into helping him record this album is no mean feat!Most of the toons are written by Page and Sutch and at times does just feel like the whole thing is just a fun jam, nothing wrong there , listen to the second track which at times could of quiet easily have been a top ten single! Ala kinks.Lord Sutch did not own much of a singing voice and made up for this with a wild stage show. So we have three quarters of music by Page,Bonham,Hopkins and Noel Redding, the rest is Beck,Edwards,Little, Kohl, and chums.. so want to hear friends having a laugh then go for it.. There is a Jimmy Page album out, which is this one plus bonus tracks with J P Jones from another session Wailing sounds !any way three and a half stars for content. Four stars for effort!
