Synopsis
"The Alternative Spelling Poster" shows the different spellings for nine of the vowels eg. for ai it also shows -ay as in hay, and a-e as in snake. "The Alphabet Poster" shows the 26 letter names in alphabetical order, grouped in four dictionary sections. This book is ideal for teaching children the basic skills needed for looking up words in the Jolly Dictionary.

this poster offers a bright and stimulating way for chidlren to learn about their phonics in an indirect way. A jolly good resource for any Key Stage One classroom. Jolly phonics resources are brilliant.
Jooly Phonics Alternative Spelling Poster
The alternative spelling poster is excellent. My daughter has found it very useful in learning the alternative sounds and runs to the poster every time she comes across then during reading. A very helpfull visual tool when trying to help children to read. My daughter is becoming quite a confident reader.
