Product Description
New edition of this 'funny, febrile and fascinating' (Times) play - alongside ten-city tour heading for the West End and starring Nick (Lock, Stock) Moran The four assassins of Thomas Becket take refuge in Knaresborough Castle as public opinion turns against them. Corcoran 'pulls off something surprising - this comedy of anachronism often feels authentically medieval' Observer First staged with Jonny Lee Miller in the lead, directed by Richard One Foot in the Grave Wilson, the play now embarks on a ten-city tour prior to West End. Leading the cast is Nick Moran from Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, whose new film, Another Life, opened in June.

Editorial Reviews
Review
'The prospect of a new play about the distant past provokes a terrible sinking feeling. You are almost certain to be lumbered with fearful tosh in pseudo-archaic language... In fact this first play by Paul Corcoran... turns out to be a consistently entertaining evening that delivers some startling surprises. He offers historical drama for the Tarantino generation, full of nervous laughter, sudden violence and expletive-laden dialogue that is often outrageously funny... Paul Corcoran looks like a real discovery.' Daily Telegraph
