Children will love it!
This is a really nice book with terrific illustrations. And the best version I've seen of the traditional story.
Instead of Goldilocks running away at the end, the bears make her tidy up the mess and mend the damage she's done - then escort her safely home. Goldilocks learns a lasting lesson from her adventure.
Beautifully presented. My children aged 3 and 5 adored it.
21st century edition
The story is practically the same but the wonderful illustrations tell the story for you if you are a pre-reader. The gold beads in the girls hair cause the name goldilocks. Wonderful way to talk about cultural hair dos.
Fantastic
Would recommend this book to anyone with children especially parents of children that have darkers skins as it refreshingly shows someone who looks like them being the beautiful main character!!! Instead of goldilocks having long blonde hair in this story she has beautiful dreadlocks - Again a refreshing change just a shame it has to be an american book. Surley we have talented BME writers and illustrators in England.
