Fantastic Very Funny DVD
I had only seen Lee Mack on TV prior to buying this video and was a bit worried that the comedy might be as corny as his TV stuff such as Not Going Out ( funny but predictable ). As a stand up he is absolutely brilliant and my whole family love this DVD. He is really quick on stage and his audience interaction is fantastic. Even if you don't like Lee Mack on TV I would recommend that you give this DVD a go.
Shame : I was looking forward to the DVD.
Lee Mack - Live
I have to say it was a real shame. I saw the show 'Live and the Apollo' on the TV a few years back (2005 I think) and this DVD is basically 80% repackaged material from that show. Still made me smile, but I wanted a real belly ache of a laugh.. as a say a shame. Not worth the money in my view.
We couldn't breathe we were laughing so much!
Like some of the other reviewers my husband and I first saw Lee Mack on Jack Dee Live at the Apollo. We were crying laughing then and when we watched the DVD ended up in the same uncontrollable state. It's not often I find it acceptable to get in to a snotty sobbing mess but this is definitely one of them! Buy it and join the growing snotty sobbing masses!
