The lady of the house, Hyacinth Buckett has turned being a snob into an art form. Unfortunately her surname - it's pronounced Bouquet, don't you know - and her family, don't help. Her long - suffering husband, Richard, keeps his head down and does his best to live with her domineering ways. But Hyacinth's a termined lady, with one mission in life - to impress.

Hilarious!
I can still watch any of the episodes and still find them hilarious even 15 or more years since i first saw them on BBC1, i often think that since other BBC comedies have returned for a one off such as "To the Manor Born", it would be great to see a new episode of Keeping Up appearences. But it wouldn't be the same as sadly Mary Millar who played Rose tragically passed away. Buy this set for a box of laughs it has all the christmas specials, one of which i had totally forgot about so was a real treat to watch. Plus even though the series' are often shown on UKGold you won't have to put up with the annoyingly and ridiculousy long advert breaks!

Very funny british comedy
Great comedy about a woman that tries to appear as an upper-class lady, although the people directly around her are not. So she is constantly trying to "keep up appearences"

One of my favourite sit coms
I could not resist this box set as it contains every episode plus the Christmas specials.
Very very funny and for me 2nd only to Only Fools and worth every penny..
