a must buy book for greek enthusiasts
The in-depth way in which this book explains each word, plus an example of a sentence in which it may be used, has definately been my best purchase since I started to study greek. My title for the review says it all.
Learning Greek
For those seriously wanting to learn modern Greek (that is going beyond the two year Foundation level), this is invaluable. It is far more accurate and usable than other dictionaries. Although it may seem like a pain having to lug two dictionary's around (one Greek to English, one English to Greek), you will be so pleased when it comes to essay time. Not only does this translate more words, it also gives phrases where the word is used, which I found particularly helpful.
