dogalog is cool
a very informative and clearly illustrated book on dogs, and basically if your keen on learning about dogs, this is the book for you.

Brilliant, esp for identifying breeds
The number of times I have looked through this book is amazing. It's well worht the money. There's so much packed into this handy sized book, great for finding out about newer, less common dogs breeds. And such fine examples of all the breeds.
I have noticed there is nothing on the Portugese Podengo though...maybe thats one to remember to put in the next Dogalog!

Top dog
What I like about Dorling Kindersley books is their high-quality photography, modern layout and informative but easy-to-read style which means they're equally suitable for adults or children.

This book is no exception, with clear pictures and short notes on all the breeds you can think of, plus a handy small-but-thick format. As an added plus it solved my crossword question (a dog with a short coat that doesn't bark), so I certainly have no complaints.
