Not fit for purpose
I bought it to keep my son out of a cupboard - however, I cannot use it because you need to stick it to the cupboard and leave it overnight to dry. I refuse to glue this to my cupboard as it will no doubt peel off half the wood lacquer when I need to remove it. Also, it's really really stiff to undo. Utter rubbish - I've resorted to using a hairband to tie round the handles, very primitive but it does the job and doesn't mark my cupboard!

These do the job quite well
This was a repeat purchase. They do the job better than other fridge catches, especially if your fridge corner is not square. Other kinds just pull off. These do wear out eventually but they're cheap to replace. I think Clippasafe must be using somewhat harder plastic in the more recent ones than in the ones we had before and I'm inclined to dislike this. But I still think the product is pretty good at keeping toddlers out.

Not toddlerproof in my house
My son sat watching me use this latch and then worked it out very quickly. It's not quite tight enough to stop him from getting into my hifi cabinet.
He's now 2 and can open it easily.
