NOW getting back to the music
The 64th volume opens with big catchy summer hits from Gnarls Barkely, Nelly Furtado and Infernal before some future hits the equally catchy Voodoo Child from Rogue traders with vocals from Neighbours Izzy. CD1 unusually continues with some rock hits.
CD2 opens with furture hit from Lily Allen "Smile" before going into an R&B hit frenzy with Rhianna, Black Eyed Peas, Pussycat Dolls, Ne-You, Busta and Christiana Milian and with latest dance hits and snoozy ballads the compilation is complete.
It is wierd how we have established acts making their NOW debut, ie Pink "Who Knew" and previously featured artists don't make the cut despite some recent big hits ie Shayne Ward "No promises", U2/Mary J "One", LL Cool J "Control Myself", Embrace "World at your feet" etc
But basically NOW delivers what it always does the latest hits and this is one of the better summer editions than in previous years
Now the best
I have just bought this 2cd and i never buy now albums so it must be good!
I would recommend this to anyone who loves all recent tunes from indie bands like the Kooks or the zutons because its all on there and what more could you want!
Go on buy it you know you want to!
NOW CD quality reducing, this is one a bit better
I have almost all the NOW CDs since the beginning. Some are very good and some less good. I have always been a big fan. But recently the quality has gone down substantially I think. I like to buy them because it compiles a lot of different chart songs .... IDEAL to play at parties! But lately the CDs have been pretty boring! Only a few good songs.
This being said, the NOW 64 CD is just a little better again. I hope this paves the way for a 'renaissance'of the NOW compilations!
