Pure Gold
This song has been on Kings of Leon MySpace page for a while now and I have had it on heavy rotation. Can't wait to buy the CD. As a massive Kings of Leon fan this new material is exciting to hear. It's not revolutionary but represents a new sort of sound for the band. Looking forward to the LP and catching them live.
KOL CANT PRODUCE BAD SONGS!!!!
The living legends have done it again!!!! AMAZING! how can you say (gone grunge)????? you clearly don't know good music when you hear it!!! these guys are the best band on the planet and iam sure the 3rd LP will be better than the rest because all they seem to be doing is showing everyone else who is the best! seeing them next month at hammersmith and it will be of the hook!!!
kINGS turn into grunge
Saw the C4 or is it T4 "premiere" of this the other night. Apart from the disturbing way Caleb Followill has of raising both eyebrows making him resemble some sort of demented elf I thought it was pretty poor. The video was either rubbish or meant to look rubbish with the band playing the song directly to camera while day swirled into night or some such irrelevent light show went on in the background. That was it. And the song.. ploddy almost turgid, moderate paced, bass led rock with a bit where he yells the title. Which incidentally seems to have nothing to do with being a physiotherapist or doctor and is more a being-there-if-you-need-me sentiment. That was probably the chourus. I remember hearing Red Morning Light, picking my jaw off the floor and going and buying the album. I liked Aha Shake Heartbreak less. This does not bode well for the third.
