Manufacturer's Description

The Kenwood BL630 Blender has an easy clean design with a generous 1.6L calibrated goblet. It has a powerful 600w motor with 3 rotary controls speeds plus pulse for flexible user control.

Parts are dishwasher safe, and the stainless steel blades can be detached for thorough. To ensure maximum safety, the BL630 comes with a full KENLOCK safety system with lid interlock. Blades will only rotate when the goblet and lid are securely in place. The removable filler cap will allow the addition of ingredients mid-blend and is calibrated to 30ml.

The included multi mill is ideal for chopping, milling, grinding and blending small quantities such as baby food, spices, coffee, herbs and nuts and comes with a lid for storage. Additional features include cord storage and rubber feet for stability.

    Deeply disappointed1
I am deeply disappointed with this product. I owned a very old (and extremely good) Kenwood blender for more years than I care to remember, but recently damaged it beyond repair. Purchased this new model and find it wanting for a number of reasons:
    1. The jug lid is fiddly to put on, and very big (bigger than 'hand size' making it awkward to handle).
    2. The appliance is considerably (and un-necessarily) larger than my old one, taking up valuable space in my small kitchen. It also means that it is harder to handle (again, everything seems to be bigger than 'hand size')
    3. The machine is nowhere near as efficient as my old one. Breadcrumbs are not so fine - in fact often pieces of bread lodge under or beside the blades and do not break down at all - and soups etc. do not liquidise down to a completely smooth consistency, but remain 'grainy'. Could this be because the diameter of the bottom of the jug is too big for the size of the blades?
    4. Why, oh why, does the bottom of the jug have to be removable? My old one wasn't, and was perfectly easy to keep clean. On several occasions I have turned the jug to remove it from the base unit, only to have the jug separate from its bottom; I will leave the resulting mess to your imagination!
All in all a poor tool. Yes, it is 'bottom of the range', but it should still be fit for purpose.

    Absolute Waste1
    Hi
This Blender certainly looks very nice but not very nice at its job. Blades are not sharp. It could not puree soft fruits like banana and grapes. Small mill attachment's locking system is very smudgy. Space consuming. I strictly would'nt recommend this blender even to my bestest enemy. Total waste of money. Returned it the same day.

    KENWOOD BL630 FOOD BLENDER1
We returned this Kenwood BL630 Food Blender after 1 day! The blade bearing failed after first use! Need I say more!
