For posing, NOT spinning!
As someone who has taken pole lessons, I am keen to point out to people thinking of buying this pole that is is a decorative item. It is suitable only for walking/dancing around, and is not durable enough for hanging on, spinning on, climbing or carrying your body weight. It is spring loaded against your ceiling and is not secured. If you fancy a sexy wiggle around it for a bit of fun, then fine. Just don't buy this if you are wanting to use the pole to support the weight of any off-the-floor moves!

Dangerous, dangerous, dangerous. Buy this if you want to prance around it looking pretty. Do not under any circumstances use this pole for inverting or spinning as it is liable to come loose and you could seriously injure yourself. If you want a decent reliable dance pole buy and X-pole, it's worth the money.

Educational and fun!
I bought this as a present for my teenager daughter Dawn, after she failed all of her GCSEs. It has provided a valuable educational function and now, against all the odds, she has found herself a lucrative career! A couple of months in and she has already earned enough for some all-important plastic enhancement-surgery. Thanks to this life-changing toy the money-ball is rolling and it's downhill all the way!
