Quality product
I bought this to help better organise cooking the Christmas dinner (mainly bcause purchase of a steamer was one of the very good tips suggested by Jamie Oliver in his excellent Christmas DVD) & it has proved to be a boon to cooking all year round.
Nicely robust & adequately sized, the joy of the steamer is that it allows you to cook three things on the one ring on the cooker (invaluable where you are not fortunate to have more than four rings on your cooker top)
It's a decent size & can comfortably cope with cooking portions of veg etc of an adequate size.
Good value & very handy to have, a great way to upgrade your "batterie de cuisine" (as Elizabeth David might put it !)

18 cm 3 Tier Steamer
Steamer received promptly from Amazon partner and is a well finished product. The supplier is specific in saying that it is compatible with induction hobs. It is not compatible with an induction hob. I have to use the steamer sections with a suitable saucepan. I can only use the bottom section as an oven casserole.

This is not a family-sized steamer, but will suit two people just fine and I'm enjoying the benefits of steamed vegetables plus the convenience of using one pan instead of three.

Recommended, but only for conventional gas or hotplate cookers.
