Pleasantly Surprised!
I have to say that I was sceptical about ordering this product after seeing the negative review. But working in mail order myself, I know that sometimes mistakes can happen but the low price made my mind up for me anyway. Let me tell you, I am glad I did order this product, because looking at the other more expensive halogen ovens advertised on here, this one has exactly the same features, but is much cheaper, so is the clear choice for me. Would recommend buying from this seller, and am very impressed with the product. They're so much easier than an actual oven, I can't believe these haven't caught on sooner, watch this space!

I purchased this item from this company and I have no complaints with either the product or company. I don't know what happened with the previous person that purchased this item, all i can suggest is that you try and contact them, because it must have been some sort of mix up somehow! My halogen oven arrived new and well packaged. I've used it to cook a roast chicken and potatoes in as shown in the product picture. (Havent tried cooking vergetables in it yet, did them separately this time!) The chicken was done perfectly, the potatoes needed a bit longer than the chicken, but still came out cooked to perfection around 10 minutes later. It has definately earned a permenant place on my kitchen worktop!

Succulent roasts but these ovens breakdown easily
I have owned two of these ovens. The first was a Prima one from QVC which cooked really succulent roasts but the lid mechanism broke after about a year and as the lid is designed to stop the machine when lifted, when the mechanism broke the unit could no longer be turned on.

But liking the convenience of it and the way it cooked roasts, I purchased another one this time from Coopers of Stortford. And sure enough, after about a year the lid mechanism broke on that one too!

Pros: Produces the most succulent roasts you've ever tasted and is much easier to clean than a conventional oven.
Cons: Works out rather expensive as the whole unit is likely to need replacing every 12 months!
