Good Choice
This aurther loves her cats and it seeps through the pages. Some great ideas on how to behave with buyers but mainly aimed for those in America. I found the book extreamly enjoyable and am really looking forward to the second addition.

A great Book
I agree that this book is written for the American market, but that said, the advice regarding potential customers and buyers is universal, and very sound. The holistic approach is mainly stating the obvious care, hygiene and cuddles that everyone should dispense to their animals, whether breeder or not, and the fact that each buyer should be treated as important and unique, rather than focussing on the sale transaction. She gives good examples of kitten farms and how to recognise them within a domestic setting. It is a fact here and abroad, that cat shows are stressful for breeders who need to be focussed on hearing the judges verdicts, but her tips for customer care and education would go a very long way towards making the experience enjoyable for the regular "punter" who is prospecting for a future family member.

I'd recomend this book to the jaded breeder as well as the prospective kitten buyer. It's a shame it's so short. I wish I had bought this instead of "the Complete Cat", by Vikky Halls, even though it weighs less than half as much for the same price.
