Great Comfort
IMAGE earphones utilize translucent patent-pending Contour Ear Gels that are anatomically designed to accurately fit inside the human ear canal. These soft, oval silicon tips reduce ear fatigue as well as provide an amazing seal for excellent noise isolation and increased bass response.
Because ear canal measurements vary, each IMAGE model comes with five different washable ear gel sizes: small, medium, and large single flange designs as well as small and large double flange designs. Extra small sizes can be ordered via the klipsch.com web store. Such variety allows these headphones to fit more of the population than the competition.
Complete Immersion
Inside these compact gems, you’ll find over 60 years of audio expertise ready to let you hear what you’ve been missing. Exclusive extended-frequency KG926 balanced micro-armatures deliver a superior acoustic experience with all the delicate accuracy you’d expect from Klipsch. And if you find yourself not completely blown away by IMAGE's performance, you probably don’t have the right seal. So be sure to try out various ear tip sizes.
Complete Allure
A must-have audio accouterment for fashion-forward listeners, IMAGE earphones feature aluminum bodies finished in beautiful anodized copper and sleek, streamlined black “tails.” Aside from aesthetic appeal, these flexible “tails” reduce cable stress and serve as an acoustic dampener to minimize cable noise.
Complete Satisfaction
Klipsch has gone to great lengths to ensure the long-lasting durability of IMAGE, up to and including its 50-inch-long vinyl cables. Put through extensive “real world” testing, these headphones feature appropriate strain relief at every cable connection point to help prevent wire damage.
Added Frills
Great iPod headphones, IMAGE also works with the iPhone and virtually any device with a headphone jack. These earphones come with a faux-leather carrying case and compact pouch, a ¼-inch adaptor, an airline adaptor, five sets of ear gels and an ear gel cleaning tool.

Customer Reviews
Small but suprisingly full
These are amazing in-ear headphones. They are small, light, look great and the quality (including the accessories) appears fantastic. Getting the earphones in is a bit funicky the first time. In my particular case i needed to push them in a bit, then make a circle and you'll notice a strong difference in sound quality (from loud to non-existent) and at that place push them further in. The final result is an angled entry but also majestic sound.
I'm an audiophile in real life, and i know what Klipsch loudspeakers sounds like: very bright to be fair (horntweeters). I was a bit afraid this headphone would copy it's bigger brothers characteristics, but i couldn't be proved further wrong. It can only be described as relaxed, a warm and full bass and a slightly recessed highs, exactly how i enjoy my music for a longer period.
Negatives? They are in-ears, so you'll hear nothing (not save in traffic) at the same time you hear everything that "transports" through your body (thumping feet when walking etc.).
170 pounds might seem much, but how often do you buy new headphones? The enjoyment you get from these is worth it over those horrible ear-buds you get with your i-pod (which as an added bonus hurt the ears).
Remarkable X10s
Stunning! Night-&-day difference compared to other in-ear headphones, although you must be patient & take a little time to experiment with the various-sized earbud tips (included).
Very detailed sound with deep bass, clear mid-range & refined top-end treble. It's well-worth adjusting your iTunes Import Settings to Apple Lossless, because the X10s will dig out the extra detail - & they'll also expose the inadequacies of low-bitrate (MP3, AAC) formats.
The X10s are also very light & comfortable (compared to Shures). If I wanted to be very picky, arguably the increment of the large earbuds to the mediums should be subtler - the step-up is more like med' to XL. Also, it would be useful if the 'L' & 'R' insignias were larger & bolder.
Now, when listening to music on my iPod Classic via in-ear headphones, the sound quality is no longer so 2nd-rate when compared to a home hi-fi setup. Sure, the X10s could never be described as 'modestly priced' but they're a classic example of YGWYPF.
(Don't bother upgrading to Comply T-100 foam earbud tips - the standard Klipsch 'gel' [aka rubber] earbuds produce superior sound & are more practical in day-to-day use, IMHO.)
They are awesome
After years of not knowing better and using Philips earhook earphones that would press against the `concha' part of my ear and cause it to ache and thinking I could just tough it out and get used to it, I've always avoided earphones. So I used two amazing Sony MDR-Q66s (discontinued) for 4 years and then the cheap and crappy Sony MDR-G45-as replacement to MDRQ66- for a whole year. I couldn't bare the MDR-G45s any longer so I was willing to try earphones once again so I looked around for small earphones and came across the in ear Klipsch Image X10 and the JAYS q-JAYS .
I chose the X10s since they appeared more comfortable and had heard that they might be small but the power, bass and "warmth" is still there. Also apparently the X10s handle low and mid frequencies really well and not so well on high frequencies compared to the q-JAYS that concentrate on high frequencies while sacrificing power and bass kick.
SOUND: After paying quite a lot of cash on them you expect high sound quality and you are right to expect that cos that is what you get. Most of the music on my PC and MP3 player is lossless and I can definitely tell the x10s superiority to my old headphones in every way. Now as for the difference between X10 and q-JAYS in sound frequencies, I can't confirm that since I haven't used q-JAYS. I have noticed that the quality of high frequencies is not as good as the quality of the low frequencies but with that said, overall, the sound is great.
BASS: For me when using the small earbuds the bass kick is not as good as it is on the larger ones that are a snug fit. This could be because the larger earbuds give a better Noise Isolation (NI) effect and so emphasizing on low frequencies, similar to when you cover your ears and you hear your voice deeper and louder. If you have really small ear canals this might not be an issue since the small earbuds would be snug enough for great NI and therefore great bass. I would love to use the less snug small earbuds to hear some of my surroundings and also be able to enjoy great bass. Nevertheless the bass is AMAZING for earphones so small.
DESIGN & WEIGHT: It has been a week and I've used them every day for an average of 5 hours per day at the beginning it felt very strange sticking something into my ear but now I've gotten somewhat used to them. They disappear into your ears and the earbuds are thin and flexible so they don't put much pressure on the opening of my ear canal - which causes it to open up and ache. X10 are 10g and q-JAYS are lighter at 8g. I have a history of using relatively heavy headphones so the Image X10s feel very, very light.
The premium price you will be paying is not for the sound quality, since you can get the similar sound quality and better bass from similar priced products. What you will be paying premium for however is the awesomeness of having small sized, light, comfortable and great looking earphones with great bass and sound quality. This is not something that you can get from anywhere else. I'm thinking of stocking up on earbuds since I'm expecting these to last me for at least 5 years. I definitely recommend the Image X10, they rule.
