Great Comfort
IMAGE earphones utilize translucent patent-pending Contour Ear Gels that are anatomically designed to accurately fit inside the human ear canal. These soft, oval silicon tips reduce ear fatigue as well as provide an amazing seal for excellent noise isolation and increased bass response.

Klipsch Image GelsBecause ear canal measurements vary, each IMAGE model comes with five different washable ear gel sizes: small, medium, and large single flange designs as well as small and large double flange designs. Extra small sizes can be ordered via the klipsch.com web store. Such variety allows these headphones to fit more of the population than the competition.

    Small but suprisingly full5
These are amazing in-ear headphones. They are small, light, look great and the quality (including the accessories) appears fantastic. Getting the earphones in is a bit funicky the first time. In my particular case i needed to push them in a bit, then make a circle and you'll notice a strong difference in sound quality (from loud to non-existent) and at that place push them further in. The final result is an angled entry but also majestic sound.

I'm an audiophile in real life, and i know what Klipsch loudspeakers sounds like: very bright to be fair (horntweeters). I was a bit afraid this headphone would copy it's bigger brothers characteristics, but i couldn't be proved further wrong. It can only be described as relaxed, a warm and full bass and a slightly recessed highs, exactly how i enjoy my music for a longer period.

Negatives? They are in-ears, so you'll hear nothing (not save in traffic) at the same time you hear everything that "transports" through your body (thumping feet when walking etc.).

170 pounds might seem much, but how often do you buy new headphones? The enjoyment you get from these is worth it over those horrible ear-buds you get with your i-pod (which as an added bonus hurt the ears).

    amazing5
I know nothing about tech stuff. These are rocking ! They are teeney and are amazing on long flights. I cant hear anything in the room except perfect music. I have bought and tossed a million pairs of uncomfortable headphones. I love these. No regrets now I just wish for more time on my ipod!

    Remarkable X10s5
Stunning! Night-&-day difference compared to other in-ear headphones, although you must be patient & take a little time to experiment with the various-sized earbud tips (included).

Very detailed sound with deep bass, clear mid-range & refined top-end treble. It's well-worth adjusting your iTunes Import Settings to Apple Lossless, because the X10s will dig out the extra detail - & they'll also expose the inadequacies of low-bitrate (MP3, AAC) formats.

The X10s are also very light & comfortable (compared to Shures). If I wanted to be very picky, arguably the increment of the large earbuds to the mediums should be subtler - the step-up is more like med' to XL. Also, it would be useful if the 'L' & 'R' insignias were larger & bolder.

Now, when listening to music on my iPod Classic via in-ear headphones, the sound quality is no longer so 2nd-rate when compared to a home hi-fi setup. Sure, the X10s could never be described as 'modestly priced' but they're a classic example of YGWYPF.

(Don't bother upgrading to Comply T-100 foam earbud tips - the standard Klipsch 'gel' [aka rubber] earbuds produce superior sound & are more practical in day-to-day use, IMHO.)
