Bellydance beginner
This is a great programme to learn how to Bellydance. It is also a great workout for your abs, arms and thighs. She has a really good way of breaking down the moves into sections. Plus, it is loads of fun.

More of a nice dvd to watch rather than a teaching tool
On the plus side this was beautifully presented in some stunning locations and exquisite costumes - very Hollywood! - but on the negative side it wasn't really helpful as a proper learning tool. Being new to bellydancing I was hoping for something more instructional and practical and this dvd was not, unfortunately. Too many camera shots of upper body when what you need to see is how she's moving her feet, and not enough of what I now know are the basic 'isolations' (individual movements).

Belly Dance for Beginners
After reading a review on this DVD I was a little disappointed as I thought it would be easier to copy the moves but some of the time you can't see the moves. If you can get the DVD cheap enough I would give it a go as after using it a few times I think you would pick it up.
