Grill is great horrible clean up3
I just received this grill as a gift and was excited to use it. I have owned other larger grills but like the idea of the "toaster" effect offered by this one. I grilled some softened red peppers, marinated tofu and mushrooms. It all tasted amazing and the tofu which usually takes 20 minutes or more baking took only five with the Krups. For all its good though, I have to say clean up it an absolute PITA. The grill does not come apart so you have to wash it all in place; dirty water everywhere since you can't submerge it for obvious reasons.
Love the grill, hate the clean up.

no more pizzas5
Was looking for a toastie maker as have 2 hungry teenagers in this household. So glad we bought this as the kids love it! You can not only make perfect, professional-looking paninis with all sorts of items/quantities for fillings; but you could also use it a (stripey) health grill for one/two people. It is not the cheapest but lovely build quality and simplicity make us glad we invested in it. As the kids have given up pizzas, I'm sure it paid for itself very quickly!
