Product Description

The legendary fighter teaches how to perform jeet kune do's most devastating strikes and exploit an opponent's weaknesses with crafty counterattacks like finger jabs and spin kicks. In addition, Lee breaks down the attributes that make up the ultimate warrior and reveals how to develop the proper tactics and attitude for victory. As the fourth and final volume in the "Bruce Lee's Fighting Method" series, it contains detailed illustrations and vintage photos capturing Lee in his prime. This essential series, compiled and organized by his close friend, Mito Uyehara, is the perfect companion to Bruce Lee's classic text, "Tao of Jeet Kune Do".

Rounding off your training5
This is the third and final book in Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do series.

This book goes into tremendous detail over the techniques and basics of both of the previous books.

If I were you, I wouldn't be expecting to learn deadly techniques from this book just because it says it is advanced. This book is about detail and understanding what was learned in "Basic Training" and "Skill in Techniques". If you've read the first two books, you've already learned about the most effective ways in which to defend yourself and take down your opponent. This book goes into more detail over the "why" these things are done, more detain into "how" the these things are done and the phylosophies behind it all.

Great illustration and instuctions as usual.

Rounds off the JKD training superbly, and emphasises the need to keep it up and practice hard.

Not yet read, but intend to do so.5
I am a great fan of Bruce Lee. I love his work and I hope I am a great student of his in the near future. I am only 17 yrs. old and I just started learning about Bruce Lees's techniques. I admit, I probably should have started a long time ago. But that time ago, I have always loved his movies and his fighting style. I hope to be just like him some day. I have never taken any kind of martial arts class of any sort. I have learned all my ways from his movies. I even mastered the weaponery of the mighty nun-chucks. All by watching his videos and taking the time. I wish more and more people would remember Bruce Lee as a great man and not some jip off the old block. Bruce Lee, if you are listening out there where ever you are, I am one of the few who greatly admire you. Your style and technique is one of a kind which nobody can take from you. I hope whoever reads this passage take a little time to commemerate the mastery of the way of the Dragon(also known as BRUCE LEE).

Good book for someone who has experience in martial arts!5
Although this book is on advanced techniques, there are some moves instructed on how to do that are basic. For example, the leading straight is a basic punch in jeet kune do, and so is the side kick.

Also, I expected Bruce Lee to actually be bare chested while demonstrating the moves. He looks more familiar to me without a shirt on.

Still, this book is the best and I recommend it to any experienced martial artist!
