8 Months on....
and I still play the album - to me it has a great charm, it just hooked me since I bought it. I bought the cd the day after I saw them playing with Bryan Adams in Birmingham, thinking what a great support act, sounding great live. So glad I did buy it. That voice. Can't wait for the next album
Catchy, sparkling rock/pop with captivating lead vocals
This album is pure pleasure. It's crammed with exciting, catchy melodies and riffs backed by tight and driving rhythms, reminiscent of Texas at their addictive best. And like Texas, Speedway showcases a charismatic lead vocalist with a stunning voice. Anyone who enjoys this album should certainly take a look at Jill Jackson's forthcoming solo album - the vocal talent on display here is just the tip of the icebeg.
Speedway - Live at Wembley
I havn't listened to the album, but I have to say that I saw Speedway play live at Wembley last weekend. They were supporting Bryan Adams. They were excellent. Will now be buying this album!!!
