Vital Design Flaws2
The product is not what you may expect an ordinary case to be, it hangs via a cord (and annoyingly cannot be detached from it) and also does not work with 3rd party earphones. Logic3 do provide an adapter for this but mine went missing after only a day of use, call me unlucky but I'm just an average user and I'm sure it would have happened sooner or later with such a small device anyway.

It is quite impractical as when you do get bored of it weighing your neck down and place it in your pocket and need to skip or pause etc. you find your hands in a tangle with a mass of cord. Also, as other reviewers have pointed out there is no access to the dock connector which is just uncalled for when it would be such a better case if it lost the neck cord and allowed access to the dock. Furthermore, the material they use to cover the Click Wheel makes it hard to scroll through large libraries.

On the plus side, it does look as if it would give solid, decent protection but the design flaws just make it annoying to use on an everyday basis. If you are looking for a case to use daily for your iPod I recommend looking for something like the Contour Showcase or similar and paying the £10-£15 more.

Read the advertising carefully - NOT for 80G iPod Classic3
I bought this on the advice of reviewers, despite comments about the bottom socket being unavailable. Both reviewers have mentioned 80 G iPods - WARNING the box only says 30 and 60 G (video) iPods - I only found out after I had opened it like a kid does with a present. My 80G does NOT fit snugly into it; it rattles quite a lot. This item is not made for the 80G iPod Classic. It will do as a protective case, but I cannot use the scroll wheel when it is inside, and there is no access to the docking port at the bottom. I'd actually be surprised if you could use the scroll wheel with the 30G or 60G models, as the rubber is so thick that I can't imagine it would transmit enough finger pressure - I'd be interested to hear from other users. I will use it in the car, when I can set volume before encasing the iPod, but the inability to charge it is going to annoy me.

better than expected5
I got this plastic case for my 80gb. It fits well & does what it says.

My car connection headphone socket was too large but was easily customised

Beware if you want to access the bottom input/output- not with this armour
