Product Description

Fourth album from California-based emo-pop-punk quintet follows 2004's 'Catalyst'. Moving away from the hardcore influences found on that album, this is their most mature release to date, sporting a relaxed, carefree attitude which brings to the fore the best of their trademark qualities - melody, catchiness, accessibility - without ever sounding forced or contrived. Produced by Thom Panunzio, (Ozzy Osbourne, Tom Petty, Go-Go's), it includes the single 'It's Not Your Fault'.

when i first listened to this album i was not blown away . it really wasnt what i thought it was . i put it asides for a few days then tried again . after a few more listens i was blown away . when you see this album for what it is , its a masterpiece. to many people have gave it bad ratings for bieng different . but this is a real breath of fresh air for the band. my best tracks on the album would have to me " Hold My Hand , Coming Home , Taken Back By You and When I Die " every song has something to offer you . so if you intrested in the genre or you like previous new found glory then this cd is more than worth your money . when it captures you , you will be amazed !!

New Found Style4
This was the first NFG album i got, and i loved it. From the first track, i was hooked, I listened to it repeatedly for about a week before getting my hands on one of their older albums.

The best songs are "Oxygen", "Connected", "Its Not Your Fault" and "Golden", but the other tracks are still good.

However, when i listened to NFG's 3rd album ( "Catalyst" ), i realised that they had lost their punk edge. There's no doubt that "Coming Home" is a fantastic, but it doesnt have any of the fast paced punk-rock anthems that made NFG famous.

NFG's first 2 albums ("New Found Glory" and "Sticks and Stones") really let me down. The songs seemed rushed, the music was kinda hashy and the lyrics didnt fit (they often find lead singer Jordan Pundik cramming long sentences into short lines). They occasionally have a good song or two but nothing great. "Catalyst" is the perfect combination of creative song writing and pure punk-rock, a definate improvement over the first attempts.

So, if you want a good old fashioned, fast paced punk album, get Catalyst.
But if you're looking for a well thought out, slower, more heartfelt album, go for this one. Although, i recommend both ;)

Taken Back by New Found Glory!5
I'm not NFG's biggest fan so I didn't realise this was coming out when I first saw it and subsequently bought it. Very, very glad I did though! It's a great album, to say the least! It's a little less brash than there earlier stuff...but just how I like it! I'm constantly singing along to it, usually with a big smile on my face! I've even got my girlfriend hooked on it, after only one listen aswell!!
The tracks are, pretty much, all fantastic and I can't really think of a bad one!! They've done well on this one!
