Manufacturer's Description
Reduce the internal operating temperature of the 360 to prolong the consoles lifespan. The Intercooler 360 is a snap on cooling attachment that easily connects to the Xbox 360 to significantly reduce the internal temperature of the console. The Intercooler 360 provides increased air-flow throughout the Xbox 360 which allows the internal circuitry to perform at a cooler temperatures and reduces wear and tear on the unit. No internal modification of the Xbox 360 is required. A pass through power connection utilises the existing Xbox 360 power supply negating the need for an extra AC adaptor. The unit also powers on and off automatically with the Xbox 360 and the intercooler's small size will fit in tight spaces with your console displayed in either horizontal or vertical position.

I don't trust it anymore
I bought one of these a while ago and my system just got the ring of death. a: it's not made by microsoft b: it covers up the existing cooling system and then tries to cool the console with 3 basic fans, ok... c: it's really noisy
Don`t buy it!
I got myself a 360 in mid-may and due to the heat it was producing decided to buy myself the NYKO fan at the end of May. For the first 3 weeks all was well and it did what it was supposed to, but today I went to turn on my 360 and got the 3 red rings of doom, so I unplugged the machine and unclipped the fan to find that 2 of the pins on the unit were badly melted and burnt and this had caused pins in my 360 power lead to melt as well!!! So now I cant use my 360, i`ve emailed both Microsoft and NYKO, but as it is`nt a licensed piece of kit i`m not holding by breath for a replacement free of charge. Prices for a new PSU are around £50.
So my advice would be to use the 360 the way it comes out of the box and if it burns itself out at least Microsoft will have to change it.
Melted my 360
I had the intercooler for a month, it worked well kept it cool, but then it got stuck on the back of the 360 and could not get it off. Because i turned it off for a fews days to download stuff without the noise, and the little black plasic bits inside melted to the intercooler. Then it stopped working because it could not get the power. Lucky for me microsoft fixed it. So if i was you i would not get this intercooler, it can melt your 360.
