Great Device (after a breaking it in)4
The thing that drew me towards the Trackman was it's ergonomics and the multi function buttons. The fact that it looks great was also a factor!

When it arrived the installation was easy, no hiccups at all. Assigning the buttons is no problem and the hardware operates perfectly. The only problem was with me. I had been using a regular mouse with a gel pad for ages, and I couldn't get used to dropping my wrist onto the desk. My hand hurt, my shoulder hurt and I was very annoyed that the ergonomics weren't kicking in.

I took about three weeks before it clicked (pardon the pun). Now, I am used to it and I can't remember when I didn't have it. It feels very natural when you're working with it. Also the multi-function buttons mean less trips across the screen with the cursor. I am pretty happy overall with my purchase and would recommend this product to intensive computer users.

    Pros:
    - Natural Feel (eventually)
    - Multi-Function buttons
    - Good mouse movement and responsiveness
    - No need for mouse mat, mouse is not confined to within a foot of the computer
    - Looks great
    - Stops your boss or anyone else from using your computer
    - You can leave a regular mouse connected at the same time

    Cons:
    - Takes a few weeks to get used to the position
    - Multi-function buttons cannot be assigned to any of the "F" keys. You're limited to the list they provide you, although this is fine for most regular uses, it can be a drawback for developers. It would be nice if buttons could be assigned to keystroke macros
    - the little Lock button is not in a position you can get to easily
    - Wouldn't be precise or responsive enough for gamers

Great when you get used to it5
Before using this trackball I'd never used one before in my life - to be honest I steered clear thinking they where difficult to use - I was wrong. After the intial period of getting used to using this - I think it's great. i use it all day at work and I wouldn't change! You soon can't live without the internet buttons (back and forward) and the cruise control scroll (click the wheel). It literally has everything you want and a bit more. It's also great being cordless and RF the batteries last for ages - you can also use rechargeables! and obviously no cables in the way! You just sit the receiver somewhere and press connect then press connect on the bottom of the trackball - simple. Anyone who is thinking of buying a new input device - consider this a worthwhile upgrade. It's a little more expensive than others - but it's worth it.

Cordless TrackMan Optical - try it you might like it5
I was searching for a new cordless mouse. I had tried many but they seemed useless and only suitabvle for certian surfaces; namely hard flat surfaces. So i tried a product i have seen for quite some time, but never experienced. Sceptical at its abilities, i went to my local PC store and requested a test drive. At first it seemed difficult to get about. Rolling around, never quite managing it precisly. But as time went by it became easier, even more comfartable than a mouse. Without as many problems. The best features to it were firstly its touch, a soft touch felt natural. Second was that i could put it absolutely any were, and still get amazing and acurate movemnet. This is thanks to its "digital radio technology" that doesntrequire line of site like most its competitors. Other features included the 7 buttons, 2 of which allow internet navigation.
I would definately recomend this to any user, providing they had no problems with their finger functionality.

To conclude, it looks strange is un-conventional but amazing!
Try it, you might like it!
