Editorial Reviews

Synopsis
Hit BBC show in which budding entrepreneurs face a panel of real-life business 'dragons' in the hope of convincing them to invest in their amateur business ventures. With only a brief time to pitch and thousands of pounds at stake, will they negotiate, play tough, or be laughed out of the den?

Customer Reviews

Dragon's Den gives direction4
Dragon's Den offers a great variety of examples of how to influence others into investing in you and your product/service. What would make it even better is if it had some segments letting us know where they are, say 6 months later.

Yes, but...4
Of course it would be cleverer to simply watch the series when it is on TV, or record it and watch it once. There is not a lot of "collection-value" of these DVDs, but then, if you have missed several episodes, then there is little other way to catch up. It would have been nice to see at least a sample of one complete session / presentation, as the broadcasts are obviously heavily edited. This would have helped to prepare oneself if there is the desire to possibly go into "the Den" at some point in the future.

Best things is the presenter, Adam Davies!3
This is one of the best and worse shows of its genre.
Best because it does actually get budding entrepreneurs to ask themselves some serious fundamental questions about themselves and the product they hope to bring to market.
Worse because of the arrogance the dragons, cum-wanna-be-gods, show towards some of the contestants.
They may have made their millions, but frankly if it means ending up like these poor sods with their inability to get it right and be human in the process, then keep it!
