Draper Lopping Shears
Excellent value for money! They have so far worked as well as expected. They might not be as substantial and highly enginered as other models but then I didnt expect them to be for £15.
draper lopper
I purchased this lopper from Amazon a couple of months ago and I have made extensive use of it in private woodland since then. It is a bit on the heavy side compared to my Tichmarsh but it does equally well the job. The blades are still very sharp, and the handles extend very well. How to extend the handles isn't very obvious. I found out how to from a friend. The ratchet system is excellent and "pumping the handles" allowed me to cut some some branches close to 2 inches thick (saving me the use of a pruning saw). May I also recommend a small, light weight Wilkinson Sword lopper as a useful companion? I find it invaluable to carry both when working in woodland.
