The 'All in One' laptop stand
I was looking for a stand as a present for my brother, he uses his laptop everyday for college so I was looking for something that would make using & viewing the laptop more comfortable over long periods of time. After looking at several options I went with the iDock as it combines a fan cooler, has adjustable height and has four USB ports. I have a fixed height laptop cooler myself and it was almost the same price as the iDock so I think this one is really good value. I tested the iDock on my laptop (Microsoft Windows XP, can't say about any other system) before giving it to my brother and its a plug & play so the installation was easy to say the least. The cooling fans are similar to those on other laptop coolers, fairly quite, however there is a nifty little switch on the iDock which switches off the fans so you don't have to listen to them for hours on end. I also discovered that the highest level the stand can be set at is great for watching DVD's/movies on the laptop as it lifts the screen up quite a lot higher than precariously balancing it on several books as the feet on the stand keep the laptop firmly in place! If your working at home you could attach a USB normal sized keyboard into the iDock and using your laptop would be like using a PC. All in all I'm really pleased with its good value for money and the delivery was pretty speedy and I think my brother will be chuffed with the iDock.

Nice cheap Docking station
Fabulous piece of kit for the money. I plugged my work Laptop into it because I am limited to just 3 usb ports. There are 4 ports on this at the back which keep the wires out of site and 2 fans to keep it cool which quite honestly you can't hear. I am sure there are better docking stations out on the market but for this value....I think not.

Excellent cooler - but watch your laptop size
The triple fan model I received yesterday cools my laptop silently - great so far.
However - I have two laptops -
a Dell Inspiron 9300 (the smaller and lightest) and a
Dell Vostro which is heavier..
Both are 17" screen.

Neither would stay on the cooler stand when it was tilted even at the gentlest angle.
they were too thick at the base and slipped off.

I am using it flat and it does the job excellently.
The USB ports are great and if it had worked in the 'lectern' mode - I would have given it 5 stars.
