Does what is says on the box
I bought this after reading the other good feedbacks and I'm glad I did.

Keeps my laptop super cool, no doubts it will add to its life-span.

The tilt angle for the keyboard is suits me well, not too steep, not too shallow.

This particular model fits my 17" exactly.

And last but not least, the noise of the twin fans is barely a mild hiss in the background.

Would certainly recommend....and that's something amazing because I'm a fussy old codger!!

Great Product BUT with serious design compatibility flaws
This item is very good in terms of low noise output and the power of the fan and delivers in those 2 fields as promised, the problem is that my Laptop, an HP Pavilion dv9000, doesn't fit on this product length ways, the biggest problem with this is that the feet hang over the back of the stand and the Laptop fan itself is blocked, thus completely destroying the point of having the item in the first place. My other gripe is that the fans are located too centrally on the stand itself for my model of Laptop, however this is just more a case of bad luck on my part.

This could have been a perfect item and I am disappointed that more care was not taken to give sufficient surface area to accommodate the casing of the Laptop. This is why I give this product 3 stars, be careful to measure your Laptop before purchasing.

If your Laptop will fit on this stand then you will see the benefits that it offers, if not then you may well find yourself asking for a refund.

Amazing!!!
I have the 15" version and I did not buy this from Amazon, however, this does not matter. I questioned at first whether this would actually work, so I decided to try it out. It is dead easy to set up:

1. Place notebook cooler on desk.
2. Flick the switch on the back to on.
3. Plug one end of the USB cable into the cooler, and the other into your notebook/laptop.
4. Turn your laptop on, and the fans start going and constantly cool your laptop.

It's very easy, and even after hours of use on the laptop it still keeps it very cool. It's warm, but when my laptop base used to be so hot you could hardly touch it, and now it is only just warm, I find this product amazing. WOW!!!
