    Misleading picture...2
Image shown is much wider than actual product...

15" refers to an OLN 15" (eg. not wide screen) so the laptop would be narrower deeper and taller.

fans quiet yes, but very low speed (1800rpm) so dont have much kick...

about a drop of 2 degC when idling but not much difference when running at full pelt
(13" macbook - temp via "smcFandControll")

    Too short as others say2
I bought this for my Thinkpad T60p and as other reviewers mentioned, the base is not wide enough, so the comp sticks out a bit on each side (say a 0.5cm). It does cool the system a bit, but doesn't really improve gaming. I still experienced shutdowns when gaming due to dust in the laptop fan. Better clean tha fan and save yourself some money.

Does what it should, but leaves room for improvement 3
Holds my laptop on a very sturdy base and is among the better of the versions of this I have seen, however:
    1) As above, I have a 13" laptop ultraportable, and it still hangs over the edge. What size was it meant for?
    2) The USB ports don't allow my lappy to recognise every device I shove into it.
